Dearest Hannah,
Sandy’s description of you brought tears to my eyes. We are all so proud of you and think so highly of you. “Bli ayin ha’ra”, you are mature and wise beyond your years.
Unfortunately, because we’re in Israel and you’re in the States, we don’t see you often and aren’t aware of the details of the activities with which you are involved. It was wonderful to read Sandy’s article (Thank you, Sandy!) because it described some of the day to day “chessed” that you do. I can’t wait to show it to Bubbah and Zeydah tomorrow when they come for Shabbat. It will no doubt bring them much “Yiddishe nachas”.
Also, we completely agree that your Mom is a very special person. Asking her to marry him was no doubt the best decision my dear brother ever made! Thank you, Steve, for bringing Ailene into our family.
We love you all so much and can’t wait to see you next month, G-d willing…
